Attraction and Hotel site adjacent to Orange County Convention Center (Brokerage)

Plan B Holdings was asked to identify and assist in the purchase of a hotel/commercial site near the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. A 32-acre entitled property adjacent to the Convention Center was identified and research revealed that one of the property owners was a past associate of a Plan B principal. This established a platform from which a mutually acceptable contract was executed.

During these negotiations, the buyer introduced a potential purchaser for a portion of the property under contract. Plan B Holdings was asked to complete the negotiations with the potential parcel buyer. Final negotiations with the parcel buyer resulted in a purchase price for 20 acres equal to the overall property with a simultaneous closing. This resulted in Plan B Holdings’ client obtaining a 14-acre entitled prime development site for legal and real estate fees. Development is on hold pending improvement in the Central Florida tourist economy.
